The Race Is About Race
I've heard that a lot of the people in the US vote based on Race (racial issues) rather than the polices of those who run The Race for your vote.
I do not know how it is in the USA but locally there are two main races that usually vote depending on the race of the candidate. No matter who they are, what they have done, as long as they are from the same race, they vote for them.

Strangely enough, that theory is pretty overrated in the US. For instance, the African American population does vote primarily Democratic. However, the interesting part is that very few actually vote. Actually, minorities in general tend to vote Democratic. The issue is...they don't normally vote.
As loved as he was, Bill Clinton was voted into office by less than less than 50% of those voting. Those that voted only constitued about 70% of those eligible to vote.
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. I guarantee you that the rich vote in high percentage!

That is a very fair assumption to make about the US. Black people, and minorities in general tend to vote Democrat, but they don't vote allot. But voting is drawn across other borders now as well. Christians generally vote conservative republican when they vote. The problem is that open minded people and reason and logic minded people don't vote a particular group. In fact, very few people vote independently. We are so party centralized that its often a matter of how many from which party show up at the polls. If more people voted independently, voted on the issues that the politicians will really effect, then there would be a much more diverse groups of people running the country. Get out and vote by the issues people!
