Dow Jones Increases
The Dow Jones industrial average ended up more than 0.7%, cruising above 15,700 and blowing past its previous closing high of 15,680, set on Oct. 29. The S&P 500 also gained, ending near its record high, while the Nasdaq declined about 0.2%.
