Mitt Romney & The Mormon Church - Page 6

One of the main reasons people will not vote Romney as President is because of his personality and because he is not straightforward. The answer he gave was idiotic and to think he may have thought it was the right choice at that time makes me wonder his thinking capabilities seriously along with wondering why he does not fire his PR guy, it is obviously that whoever is coaching him on what to say is not doing a good job at all.

I do not think Romney has what it takes to be President, the kind of questions he is being asked are not even closed to "hard" yet he seems to get nervous or reply without much thought.

Mitt Romney Wins Nevada Caucus, Largely Ignored by Mainstream Media

Carson City, NV (LifeNews.com) -- Mitt Romney won the Nevada caucus handily but his landslide victory went largely ignored by the mainstream media. Before the vote, Nevada didn't receive the attention as did the South Carolina primary and the media mostly focused on the southern state as results came in during the evening. With 99 percent of the precincts recorded, Romney received 51 percent of the state delegates with no other Republican candidate coming anywhere close. He was the only major candidate to campaign in the state while most of the rest of the Republican field stayed in South Carolina for the first-in-the-South primary. Ron Paul finished in second place for the first time in any presidential battleground state as he captured 14 percent of the state delegates. John McCain, who won South Carolina, finished third with 13 percent of the delegates. Looking at other candidates in Nevada, Mike Huckabee received 8 percent of the delegates as did Fred Thompson while Rudy Giuliani received only four percent and Duncan Hunter two percent. Unlike South Carolina, there are not as many pro-life voters in this western state.

Pres. Hinckley's funeral in a few days will be packed with journalists since Mitt Romney said he will attend the funeral:

QUOTE
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Mitt Romney says he plans to attend the funeral of LDS Church President Gordon B. Hinckley.

The Republican presidential contender indicated his plans during a news conference Monday in Florida.

Romney says he'll miss the humility and wisdom of President Hinckley, who died Sunday night at the age of 97. Romney recalled meeting President Hinckley both when he worked as president of the Salt Lake Olympics Organizing Committee in 2002 and shortly before he announced his bid for the presidency.

Double the publicity for the Church and possibly Mitt Romney as well. Interesting how everywhere they are saying the 'Mormon Church' leader died. With Warren Jeffs still fresh on everyone's mind Mitt will have even more explaining to do.

MCCAIN-ROMNEY?

Some are saying that Mccain may choose Romney as a running mate. As much as those two argued about politics, it would be an interesting choice.

I believe it would solidify the conservative base around Mccain and solve some of his issues with political conservatives.

Mitt Romney is planning a new campaign for the US Presidency in which he intends not to mention anything about his religious beliefs or the Church, but I do not see how that is possible.

Does he think no one will remember his political activity from a couple of years ago? Honestly, why do politicians think we are all so stupid? That ship already sailed, Mitt.
