Imagine the missionaries taught the Gospel to a conjoined twin and he/she decides to be baptized but the other one not. Is it possible for the first one to be baptized? If so, how are they going to do it?
At first I had to smile when I saw this question. Then I thought about it and came to the conclusion that baptism may not be the biggest issue. During baptism the name of the candidate is mentioned so if both went under the surface, only the one mentioned would actually get baptized. The other would of course have to agree on being immersed with water.
However, what will be the case if the baptized part wants to enter the Temple? One is worthy, the other not. Hmmm....

That's what I meant, one being a member, the other not. Imagine the one who is baptized living the gospel, reading the scriptures, praying, going home teaching etc. I guess the other would have to get influenced to the better. The other would probably want to become a member sooner or later...

I think the baptism would only count for the twin who has taken the steps towards the big discission... namely Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Repentance, then the Baptism by immersion.
When we are baptized for the dead, we do so hoping they will except it. So if the second twin does not except it I guess it won't count for that person. Also the name called out during the prayer, I'm sure, has a lot to do with it as well.
As for the temple problem. If one twin cannot enter because of the other twin. He/she won't be held accountible for not receiving his/her endowment. Perhaps Heavenly Father has made the preparations for that person to receive them in the spirit world through proxy?
