Many have accused Bill Clinton of not doing enough to stop Osama Bin Laden, and now others are claiming that he is getting involved too much now that Sept. 11th has passed. What is your view after watching the below clip?

Well, he tried. At least that's what he says. Osama Bin Laden is just slippery, there's no doubt about it. Secondl, in my opinion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with Clinton getting as involved as he wants to.

Well he is right, he tried, but the point is that he did not try hard enough. You will note that at the end he does admit he failed. To date Bush has also failed to get Osama Bin Laden.

I guess, Its my duty to defend Bill Clinton here, even this new broadcast which caters to the question asked is Idological in nature and unfair to and adminstation long gone.

The world today has changed considerable since the Clinton administration and 911. Now if 911 was preventable, I would like to know how they could have done so, since its the Bush Administation who actually failed to act when there were real evidence that Arabs where planning an attact using Planes.

This Question is a ploy by the Republican supported fox news network owned by Rupert Mudoch who whole heartedly Supports the Republican party and is a conservative nature.

How it is a ploy, that it is a distraction from the Failing Miltary Operations in the Middle east, the Economy and Election for the house and the Senate which is on Nov 7th the Democrats has a chance to regain the Majority from the Republicans.

This is not a plot to discredit Clinton. The fact is that he did try to get Bin Laden. However, at that time, Bin Laden was not really that well known or that major of concern to the average western person. Today, we all know him and the current administration has spent the sums of many countries GNP in order to find and if necessary kill him. In Clinton's time, it would have been nice for them capture or kill Bin Laden, but it definitely was not a high government initiative.

It is interesting. Prior to Bush Jr, Bill Clinton launched more missles than any other US President, but not many hear about that fact.

Lets be completely honest in this argument. Every president from Reagan to W has known about Bin Laden as a major player. During the Iran Contra Affair, Oliver North testified that Bin Laden was THE most dangerous person on the planet since he was both militant and trained by the CIA. Every president has tried harder than most people know to get Bin Laden, including Clinton. Thats why its laughable to put the terrorist situation at the feet of Clinton. Clinton did try to get him, in fact, harder than Bush Jr tried when he got in office, if he even tried at all. There is no evidence that W did anything to try and get him, but thats another argument.
