
Law enforcement is a difficult job. HOWEVER, it is made more difficult by decisions like this:

That is the ironic beauty of it...
Their system (jails system of accepting bail payments) should not allow for that to happen. They are dealing with criminals. This should be done on a cash or electronic wire basis. Only the REALLY good criminals could fake a electronic wiring of funds. This person was already making bad personal bank checks...it is a bit more work, but not that much more to make a bad bank check. I really wish they showed the check that was accepted. I really do hope it was a masterful forgery.
The reason that the took it is that, in general, cashier's checks are valued the same as money. However, this person was IN jail for passing bad checks.
If that is all it took for her to get out, they didn't need to spend so much time to arrest her in the first place.
