Who Truly Speaks Their Mind Unafraid?

This Community brings all kinds of views and interests. Sometimes people become either offended by the view point of another and leave or stay quiet. Others may become enraged or very emotional and delete their account. Of course there are those who will agree, or maybe they do not fully agree, but rather stay quiet to remain in everyone's good books.

Well in this Thread I would like for us to nominate the most unafraid Posters, and by Unafraid I do not mean that they are not afraid to insult, I mean they can defend a position with class. They can argue using their best written charisma and do not become intimidated by the rants of others.

If someone insults them directly they can pass that over with an even greater rebuttal. If the Discussion gets heated they stay even more rather than give cheap pot shots and leave. In other words... they can handle their story wether you agree with their perspective or not.

I would like to nominate the following and you can either build the list with other names or chose the ones I have selected as the most Unafraid.

Nighthawk, hands down! He never seems to get upset. He posts with class and knowledge of his subject and uses very little sarcasm. My hat's off to Noghthawk.

Well, he does have the title 'Man of Controversy' although he repeatedly says that he often has to hold back what he really wants to say. Actually, you, Mousetrails, rank pretty high when it comes to speaking your mind.

Nighthawk never gets upset? .! Thats what makes him fun to debate with. Someone like nighthawk truly believes what he is saying and never enters and argument with out educating himself on the subject. While we disagree allot, I would say that Nighthawk is one of the most controversial people on the forum and is one who truly is unafraid to speak his mind. He may hold back ocassionally from saying something, but I have a hard time believing that it would be from fear.

Arhvic never fails to take the liberal side of the argument, adding balance. Mousetrails is the conservative side of the argument, though Mouse, you do tend to gets riled from time to time, but that, in my opinion, takes away inhibitions and is one reason that you always speak your mind.

LDS always cracks me up because she will argue online even with JB. Go to the earlier posts and see their political or religious discussions when it was just them going back and forth for months, she has no fear of speaking her opinions, or putting someone else in their place!

I doubt it is fear really, I think it is him just knowing that we would not allow it so why bother, am I right Nighthawk?

Of course he does! He is just a human. He just does not display it here but I know that certain messages coming from certain poster makes his pressure go pretty high. *wink*

No fear, it seems more like "Whatever"...kind of like "why bother if the person just does not get it".

Well, I propose JB...I call him the Saddam of the Forum, not only for his enforcement of rules but also because he speaks his mind unafraid regardless of who is the poster.

Nighthawk, he speaks his mind unafraid in the LDS mature board a lot of times.

Mouse, he gets very passionate about a topic..sometimes he cannot handle pressure very good, nevertheless he always speaks his mind unafraid, too.

Ahhh, what nice comments from you all.

Actually, when I censor myself, it isn't due to subject matter. It is due to the fact that when I am emotionally involved in a subject, I write things that aren't appropriate in a constructive discussion. There have been many times when I have written a post full of bile. After writing for a bit, I realize how bad it is, then delete the offending portions and rewrite.

Since I can't (due to modesty) nominate myself , I would have to nominate LDS_Forever. We have had some great discussions, both online and off.

Nah, I am out of the loop, I am the Architect, it is my job to be blunt, anything more will be MrSmith.

What about Arvhic, Nighthawk's extra Discussion buddy, they compliment each other so well they do not even know it? I do not know anyone that will come and state exactly what he feels is his opinion on an issue in a clear constructive manner without an iota of care as to what anyone else will think about it. He is also not disturbed in the least by any opposing view, but keeps on coming back for more unabated.
