Somebody mentioned Asia and I can confirm that in this part of the world many people eat pumpkins on a daily base. They have dozens of different qualities, from the sweet to the sour. Personally, I'm not a fan of the orange,traditional one. But here there's a pumpkin, light green in color, called "The Japanese", that is delicious. I wonder if it has the same nutritional properties...
