I don't see dreams in black and white or color, I would say somewhere in between, maybe sepia?
when I close my eyes I can only see one color too, which I would say is the color peach.
When I asked my husband what he could see when his eyes are shut, he can see white, and his dreams are in full multi color!
This leads me to believe that people can dream in all sorts of colors!
My dreams are nearly always in colour.Sometimes I wake completely disoriented as the dream has seemed real

I've heard only females dream in color |
I always dream in color and most of the time I dream in the first person. Sometimes I do have dreams where I'm outside my body looking at myself, but most of the time, it's in the first person. I always have a LOT of detail as well. My dreams are never vague or fuzzy, I just end up forgetting most of it because I have so much detail in them!
Anyway, how do we presume to know how God communicates? He may use dreams as his communications to us. We are still and quiet at that time. We are receptive to things that we aren't during the day. He may use different methods for different people because we are all different. Like, for example, are you a visual learner or an auditory learner? Do you memorize things or do things just fall into place in your head? Maybe he uses dreams to give you a revelation because your a visual learner and knows that you would remember what he's trying to tell you better than if he whispered in your ear.
I just believe we need to open. I know my husband has recieved a revelation in one of his dreams. Everything that he dreamed in that one dream has come true. And he dreamed that when he was a teenager! He dreamed about meeting and marrying me, having my son first, then my daughter, and living in the house we live in now. So, I personally believe.
