I have gone for about a week to a week and half on nothing but fruits and I can tell you that it most definitely cleans out your system. HOWEVER, after awhile you must eat something else: veggies or starches, etc as I do not believe one can be sustained on fruits alone.

Actually there is debate as to what makes a Fruitarian since most of them are vegans, but just eat a little more fruit than others.

My Husband's cousin started on this diet a few weeks ago, and up until a few days ago, she had lost around 7lb, but had started to feel very weak and light headed. She has now added vegetables into the diet, but nothing else, to see if this can help her feel stronger whilst on the diet.
Personally, I don't think it's the sort of diet that you can stay on for any length of time-there's not enough in it to sustain you (in my humble opinion)
