Paddling a remote archipelago

The Philippines is, to most of us, a tropical mystery. A place more often associated in the past with kidnappings and typhoons than experiences that might entice us to visit. Ref. Source 8

Tourism Philippines

I went there early this year and it was a great place to visit. We went to Cebu and the weather was fantastic. The service was very good at the hotel. We even booked a cycling tour with snorkeling at the end on a island that was close. I don't think that island had many visitors because of the response we got was quite different from the inner city of Cebu. The snorkeling was really enjoyable and the food was fantastic.

My only complaint was in the city where the kids are trained to beg. If you give them any money, it becomes like a feeding frenzy. However, that would be my only complaint as I truly enjoyed a relaxing holiday.
