Volvo's XC70, redesigned for 2008, is like that. So easy and pleasant to drive, you'll be drawn to it even if it's not what you set out for. [..] Though midsize, it has less room than smaller models, such as Honda's CR-V. Back-seat legroom's especially tight. And it tows less than midsize rivals. The previous generation XC70 had high reliability and owner-satisfaction scores, according to Consumer Reports. Will that carry over into the new design? If it does, and the back seat suits your needs, and the somewhat stingy (but cleverly executed) cargo space isn't a hardship, then it's hard to find many discouraging words.

Xc Volvo

I'd like to ride one of those. Volvo isn't usually known for nice design but great safety features. This time they seemed to have gotten both together.
