8 oz Dates; chopped 1 c Sugar 1/2 c Butter or margarine 1 ts Vanilla extract 1 Egg 2 c Crisp rice cereal 2 c Pecans; chopped 1 c Flaked coconut Recipe by: Southern Living Combine first 5 ingredients in a large saucepan; cook over low heat 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
