Not really. Too large and clunky. Plus too much of a distraction. I used to be a huge watch freak when I was a teenager; I had watches with calculators, watches that played music, watches with games, etc. Now, I have a simple silver band Fossil watch, and I take it off many times while at work. No need to go buy a TV watch for me!
Besides worrying about damaging it while walking and hitting it against objects I am wondering what kind of batteries something like that would need and how often you would need to change it. Then there is reception, straining your eyes to see the image and last but not least - thieves eyeing it on you. Oh well, not for me
This would have to be someone's greatest idea. I would have to comment that the creator of this watch much have been a TV junkie. Maybe he was hoping to get something done if he could take the TV with him. I wouldn't want one myself. I damage watches as it is so I would suspect this one to be no different. In my area if it worked off of a VHF band signal I doubt that I would be able to get reception most of the time anyway. I guess I simply do not see the purpose in this.
That was my question, how could it get reception? Maybe it has to do with things I don't quite understand about wireless and things. :laughs: I don't think I need to be distracted by anymore electronics. I am already startled enough when my cell phone rings. I don't use it except for when I really, really need to, so when it rings, it scares the life out of me! I can just imagine people trying to talk on the phone AND watch tv while they are driving home in rush-hour traffic now. Oh my!
