I often feel stagnated in my spiritual progress, but as I look back on myself a year ago I find I have made some, if just a little, progress. My main improvement has been in personal prayer. Though they are sometimes too short and impersonal, it has become a habit for me to say a personal prayer both morning and evening. This wasn't true a year ago. This has been helpful in keeping the Lord in my mind during the day and even saying many short prayers throughout the day as I feel the need. Progress doesn't mean perfection which means I still have much improvement to make, but hopefully I'm headed in the right direction.
Hmmm, I do not think I progressed very well. I should focus more in Personal Prayer, I am improving on that aspect but I have a long road ahead of me, nevertheless the Lord have been very merciful with me lately and as I always tells my husband, WHATEVER I ask him in great faith, he always grants it to me, ALWAYS.
Like Valla I have begun to have personal prayer both evenings and mornings. My wife and I received our endowments and were sealed this past year as well. I've also have had the chance to use my priesthood quite a bit which is always a blessing. I can honestly say I'm quite different, hopefully better, than I was a year ago. (you should have seen me two years ago... much different person) I read my scriptures more often and on my off time spend more time discussing, researching, or learning more about this wonderful gospel. I will say it does help that I'm deployed to Iraq so not much else to do with my spare time since my wife isn't around to talk to.
What about JB, Nighthawk, Zelph, Bikerchic, Farseer, and Howie? I enjoy reading all of your thoughts.
