Dbrose Introduction

Hello forum. My name is Derick Ambrose. I am from the Caribbean and a law enforcement officer. I specialise in domestic violence and sexual offences investigations.

I am hoping that I am able to contribute effectively to, and also learn from you, the topics of interest.

Hi LDS_ Forever,

Thank you for the welcome. Before there is any misunderstanding about where exactly I am based, allow me to clear the air on that.

I am Trinidadian, but I work with the British Virgin Islands Police Force. Since March 2006 I have been seconded to the Regional Police Training Centre here in Barbados as an Instructor. I will be here for two years, in the first instance.

Before I left Trinidad, I worked with the Prison Service. When I left I went to Turks and Caicos Islands and joined the police there. I left after three years and planted myself here in the BVI.

I am a sergeant of police with a diploma in social work.
