No it may not be necessary, but I choose this lifestyle. I chose it because I felt the conviction from God to do so. Everybody has their own convictions. Mine is this.

Jesus never said to do these things, but He didn't say not to either.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hitting on your choice or anything like that I'm just commenting that you may just be going five miles when you only need to go two.
