LKocher Introduction
Hello friends,
I am a Salt Lake City-based writer who is interested in the following topics: Children's and Young Adult Literature; Non-Profit Volunteerism; Mesoamerican Archeology; LDS History; Community Politics; Childhood obesity and early-onset chronic diseases (diabetes); Physical Fitness and anything related to Utah, parenting and writing.
Currently, I serve on the board of Writers@Work and write grants for The Human Rights Education Center of Utah. I freelance and have a YA historical novel in the works.
My husband and I have been married nine years and have two children ages 3 and 5. We enjoy hiking, camping and fishing. He is restoring a '55 Ford Fairlane and I keep busy with a small menagerie of animals and love the challenges of breeding and maintaining show quality tropical fish and birds.
