Recipe Ingredients Recipe detials:

1 c Sugar

3/4 c Flour

2 ts Baking powder

1 ts Salt

2 Eggs; well beaten

11 oz Dates

1 c Up and floured

1 c Chopped nuts

Powdered sugar Recipe by: VIVIEN SHEA (RWVK19A) 1. Sift and mix together the sugar, flour, baking powder

and salt. Add eggs and mix well. Add dates and nuts. 2. Spread mixture thinly on a well greased 13x17 inch jelly

roll pan. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until brown. Cool and cut into bars. Dust with powdered sugar. Yield 3 dz.JM. From the cookbook "Only In California."
