What are your thoughts about this delightful dish?

1 Lb Butter 1 1/2 C Sugar 6 Egg Yolks 5 1/2 C Flour 1 Pinch Salt 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract 2 Tsp Lemon Rind -- grated Mix like any pastry. Add all ingredients in bowl. Cut butter into mixture to make a dough. Roll it out and cut into any shape. Fill with jams, jellys or nut fillings, or top with egg whites beaten stiff. |
