Bandanamom Introduction

By means of introduction, I am an active member of the LDS church and I found this forum this morning while I was looking for information regarding dedication of homes by priesthood blessing. I was interested in a few of the topics on the forum and was pleasantly surprised to see that people seemed respectful and the discussions seemed intelligent (which is not always easy to find). I am a life long member of the church and have served in 2 relief society presidencies, 2 primary presidencies and one young women's presidency as well as numerous other church positions. My husband was the bishop of our ward for 4 years. He currently serves in the high priest group leadership. We have 3 children and have been married for 18 years. I am politically active and a firm democrat. I look forward to intelligent discussions here!

Thanks for posting your introduction message, this forum allows you to interact positively with many people on varying topics such as LDS Church news, Doctrine, the Book of Mormon, etc. However, do keep in mind that LDS Related Discussion is kept only in the LDS Related Boards as this is an International Community.

The next thing you should do now is update your profile. You can do this by clicking the link called, 'My Controls' in the top menu. You may wish to venture over to the LDS Deep Doctrine board or the News & RM Section and have a look around.
