PROVO, Utah - In conjunction with a recent Brigham Young University symposium, "Oliver Cowdery: Restoration Witness, Second Elder," the Neal A. Maxwell Institute for Religious Scholarship has published Oliver Cowdery: Scribe, Elder, Witness. The book includes 17 articles and covers virtually all periods of Oliver Cowdery's life.

I love reading about Oliver Cowdery and his in and outs with the Church. In some ways I sympathize with him, but with that said I would be anxious to know if the book reveals anything new that is not already had on this star witness and key player to the beginnings of the Church.
