Motorists could risk losing their licences for running red lights or not wearing seatbelts in a tough road safety shake-up designed to slash the road toll within four years.

Ever Regulations Road Toughest
This is nothing new, road rules are tougher in the United States. If we get stopped for speeding, running a red light, not wearing seat belts, whatever, we get a fine, but we also get points on our record. Your license gets suspended if you get just eight points on your record in a certain period of time. As well, your insurance goes up accordingly so you just continue to pay for your indiscretion! Their rules aren't rough.
