JPatt Introduction - Page 17

JB or any other authority here, I wrote an article about free open source programming languages available on the internet for the casual hobbyist and newbies and kids, and felt like this would also be a good place to share it, but I am still unsure about the link situation, since it IS a "look, here it is" type of presentation of links (well, look, here, download it).

If I don't give actual links or full URLs, is it permissible to still post the names of the sites/programs/languages, so interested parties can search for the relevant info on their own, if they like what they read in the article, or is that just a frowned on circumvention? I just like to share things like that, utilities and useful finds, especially of educational or practical nature, and especially quality free stuff (like Open Office and such) but I'm not sure on your take on it so I wanted to get a definite ruling first.

JPatt I remember you saying you were interested in a super hero type game. JB has one up and running, I was wondering if you would be interested in playing, or possibly GM'ing your own as well. I have made a character already, Name: Garrant / Alias: "The Force".

Also, quick thinking on that last post for Dark Calling.

If it's being run as a game free to non-premium members, I would be interested in playing and making a character, which I've tried to do, but I don't have RPGer status for it. How did this escape my notice, I check the active threads every day and time I come to the board, I guess I thought the "new" icon was for the other games I don't play, I didn't expect the superhero one to be active. Thanks for the heads up.

All you need to start as a Super Hero Character is 60 FP. 30 FP for character creation and 30 FP to choose an Avatar. Hope to see you there.

Before I leave today for my visit with my friend for his stepson's birthday, I'd like to request to JB that I be given RPGer status for this game, please, if it is open to non-premium members. I have 300 FP and already purchased my Superhero Avatar.

Also I'm pretty sure I had about 300 FP and I bought an avatar and now I have 210 - it's possible I misread it but ... It's ok with me either way on that, just thought I'd mention it in case there is a bug - if not, it was just me seeing things. Wouldn't be the first time.

Anyway, just wanting to try the superhero game. Thanks.

RPGer, ye have proven thy consistency and maturity here, so ye have been granted RPGer user status by the Game Master. Thus, ye will now be able to participate in certain Free Community RPGs that require this status. For some RPGs thy activity must be a minimum of 75% regardless of thy new found status.
