Thanks for the feedback. Religion can be a big problem in Discussion hence the rules here only allow for Religion to be brought up in Religious Boards thus making it relevant only to those who want to bring in faith and belief into a Topic.

I can understand how you might have perceived this as a "religious" Community before, that WAS because most of our Membership was LDS, but that is actually changing where the most active are Guests as can be seen by Joe Public replies. Also when there is such stringent rules many may think its because there is religion behind it.

I enjoy your input and writings, feel free to give us more feedback at your leisure in the Feedback Board as there are many Threads there that talk about various aspects of the Community. Thanks.

Huh. I feel just about like there is some poor person trying to get their kidnapped brother back, and mistakes me for the blackmailer and hands me a duffel bag full of money, like I'm not sure people are realizing what or who they're voting for, but I appreciate the recognition and honor all the same. I'm not all around this site like some people, but I stop here and there and tend to see some of the people I play KNtoran's RPG with, and I think Pundit and Lionel and Oliron are pretty active in a lot of boards too lately, so I guess that makes it even a more remote chance to have been voted for, so I thank you all just that little bit more.

From now on, I promise no more naked mole rats in the International Discussion Forums' cafeteria, either on the menu or causing G-Rated Disney hijinx among the diners.

First of all I must say I was very impressed that you would take time to create such an elaborate 'How To' for the new Members looking to play AD&D in this Community.

Second, I looked at it for awhile and thought that it will be lost in the Member Wars Board, plus they need that info faster, so the best place to have is where they start, here in the Welcome section. Thus, you will find your Thread sticking at the top. I also have reference to it as "Recommended" in the AD&D Rules Threads and will also get Horde to put a link to it.

Third, my only question is... Should the Thread be locked or did you want it open to help people from there? If you wanted it open then it should be used strictly for new Members just to get started and not as a means to start going on about Member Wars activity or character role playing. Your decision. Thanks.

My goodness, thanks for the kind words, and that's a good question. While it would be good for them to be able to get immediate help from there, I think it could distract them by allowing them to post in it directly there, avoiding having to read it to begin with - plus there are links to everything else they could possibly need, and I imagine if anything needs added to it from an informative point of view, it could probably be edited by you if you felt it useful? So probably locking it would be the best choice, and let them follow the links to the Questions thread or such.

You the man Jpatt you post really good stuff here so I guess you're liked! Anyway for AD&D I'm thinking that when we get an update from the GM and there isn't really anything to do you should just check with us quick and then just post in the leader thread then we're going to move on so when the GM like does come there's something new. Just saying man, I know its your call and all.
