12 Tortillas

Hi! This is the way I do my no fry tacos. I place my corn tortilla on the gas burner flame on medium. Turn it with tongs very quickly. The whole thing takes only a few seconds. Right away fold the tortilla in half and fill. We use very lean beef cooked with a little green pepper and well drained. Then we add half of a green "Ortega" Anaheim chili, Alpine Lace free and lean shredded cheese, shredded lettuce and tomato and then a good shot of La Victoria hot sauce. We have this every Saturday night. Of course a nice Mexican beer with it makes it extra good! We also like the Herdez brand salsa (red) to put on tacos or refrieds or over buritos! I am getting hungry! Bea in CA P.S. You can also do this on an electric burner or a griddle! FROM: BEA SEMOS (RNNT33B)
