Are you not ashamed to beg for a membership upgrade? Maybe you can write and see if 'Santa' or a member here will donate on your behalf towards a membership upgrade this Christmas.
Be My Santa Claus (Hover)
Dear "santa",
usually my kids do the writing to you..been many years since I have written a letter as you know, but I would really like to have an upgraded membership, but simply can't afford to do it on my own, and if I got one for Christmas it would be greatly appreciated. If not, then God Bless you anyways, and I won't forget to leave out the milk and cookies as usuall...
I am hoping that having an upgraded membership would mean I could get my own avatar, and then maybe join in an rpg game, something I guess I can't do yet cus of my low posts, but have really wanted to do for some time..it's sort of a catch 22 situation..I don't post much cus I can't rpg or personalize my stuff, and I can't rpg or personalize my stuff cus I don't post much..
being a veteran, I am fully aware of all the ramifications of catch 22 situations, but even if I don't get what I am asking for Christmas, Santa, I still promise to be good and post more often, regardless.
uh, ok. I'm not really religious, but it would be nice if a member will donate on my behalf for a membership upgrade, since I am having a bit trouble with saving the money and sending it.
I don't want anybody to donate just for me, but if you wanted to donate anyways, but had nothing to donate for, now you have a cause
Well, I am most definitely not too proud or ashamed to beg.
PLEASE!
To bring it back to a semi-formal level I would like to say that this site is a good place for discussions. I really wouldn't mind at all for someone to buy an upgraded account as I cannot donate to get one for myself. I would like to support this site but at the moment this is all I can do. Consider it your good deed for Christmas, I would really enjoy it and you'd feel good about yourself too.
This would greatly help the site, and myself as I would love to be able to do more things. As you guys, or Santa, can see I do keep active although it only has been for a couple of days. It would be worthwhile regardless.
Thank-you.
**starts singing** Santa baby, hurry down the chimney tonight...
Dear Santa,
I am afraid to admit that I am poor struggling college student trying to plan a wedding. My bank account is about the size of my pinky. Sad really. I've been a good girl all year long, I promise. I even left you cookies and milk last year!
I love the features on the site as they are, but I would love to be able to experience life from the higher side of the discussion board. Life has been pretty hectic and crazy around here lately, and so my participation level hasn't been at 100, but I check the boards regularly, and I keep it up as much as possible. My school semester is about to end, so I'll be able to dedicate more time to the reading and sharing of opinions.
Santa, you rock! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Dear Santa,
I know it seems wrong for me to ask for a membership upgrade since I am so new, however I just wish I could show the people in the RPG's what I have got. I want to share my wisdom with them, fight along side them if I must and help them in any way I can. If I don't receive it, It's alright I am happy just knowing you took time to read my letter.
I will try and do a lot to help out around here if I get a membership upgrade, mostly in the Matrix part of the forums, because that is my specialty . I just hope you can see my ambition that I have for this goal and that I am willing to work hard for it. If I must get the post's at 30 I will.
God bless you my friend and I wish you a very merry Christmas
I echo my fellow posters in the desire to contribute more to the site. I know that I'm even newer and yet I've got my tin cup held out. I think it's the administrator in me, I've been moderating for two years and it's so hard to not want to jump in and join. --that, and I'm dying to RP with you folks, I'm in awe! If anyone happens to be contributing to the starving grad-student fund, I'm sure I can scrounge up a matching donation if someone can only help a little!
Best to you, however you celebrate
