Original Nestle Toll House Cookies

2 1/4 c Flour

1 ts Baking soda

1 ts Salt

1 c Butter; softened

3/4 c Sugar

3/4 c Brown sugar; firmly packed

1 ts Vanilla extract

2 Eggs

12 oz Semisweet chocolate morsels

1 c Nuts; chopped*

Preheat oven to 350**. In small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vainlla. Beat until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture, mix well. Stir in Nestles Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 mins. Makes 100 *If using NO NUTS, increase flour from 2 1/4 c to 2 3/4 c. (1/2 c per batch) ** Original recipe calls for 375 oven baked 8-10 mins. I also do not get 100 but I like a larger cookie!
