FORMER PERU LEADER ACCUSED IN FORGERY SCHEME
A Peruvian anti-corruption judge has formally charged former President Alejandro Toledo with taking part in a criminal scheme to forge signatures to register his political party in the late 1990s, a court spokesman said Thursday.
