Recipe Ingredients Recipe detials: Ring-A-Ling Ringers

2 cups Bisquick? baking mix

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup butter -- melted

---prune filling--- 1/2 pound prunes

1/4 teaspoon allspice

1/4 cup sugar

grated rind of 1 lemon 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Heat oven to 425. Mix all ingredients with fork. Beat 15 strokes. Knead gently 8 to 10 times on board lightly dusted with Bisquick. Roll dough 1/2" thick. Cut out six 3" shortcakes. Dip fingers in Bisquick; press deep indentation (about 2" across) in center of each shortcake; fill with a heaping teaspoonful of Prun e Filling or apricot or raspberry jam. Bake about 10 min., or until lightly bro wned. Serve warm with shipped cream, sour cream or sweet cream.

Prune filling: Simmer prunes in water to cover for 30 min., or until tender. Drain. Chop finel y. Add allspice, sugar, lemon rind and lemon juice. Cool.

I wish there was more on ring a ling ringers should have been analyzed quickly so there can be so I can decide for myself.
