Recipe Ingredients Recipe detials:

2 lb Ground beef

1 c Quaker Oats, uncooked

-- (quick or old-fashioned) 1 3/8 oz Onion soup mix

1 c Milk

1 Loaf Vienna bread

-- cut into 24 slices 12 Tomato slices

Leaf lettuce 6 sl Process American cheese

-- cut in half Combine ground beef, oats, soup mix and milk thoroughly. Shape to form 12 flat patties. Place in broiler or over hot coals about 5 minutes. Turn and cook about 5 minutes longer. To serve, place a tomato slice, leaf of lettuce, half a cheese slice and a hamburger between 2 slices of Vienna bread. Reassemble loaf in bread basket.
