MEAT, MILK FROM CLONED ANIMALS SAFE TO EAT, U.S. OFFICIALS SAY

Food from cloned cattle, pigs and goats does not pose any health risks, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said in a draft ruling Thursday.

They can say how safe they are, all they like, it still wouldn't make me buy any of it knowingly.
I suppose at some time in the future though, they will start to slip this sort of meat onto the market without anyone knowing they are even doing it!
Too much messing with something that should be natural for my liking though!

I agree. There is just something about it that doesn't sit well with me. Why would this be necessary, anyway? Is it really cheaper to clone an animal than it is to raise it the old fashioned way?

Good question and my reply would be no it isn't but the conspiracy theorist in me says that if you patent and animal then you own the right to it and then have corporate ownership on the animal and hence the food source. Can't be done?
Look at hybrid grains and monsanto. Why would I want to eat anything that lives after being sprayed with round up a.k.a Agent Orange. Their "science" tells you one thing but common sense tells you another.
