Grandma Peg Introduction

I'm here to gain knowledge.
The internet is a vast world and it amazes me where a google will find me. It amazes me the volume of other intelligent individuals out there who want to share, pass on information and learn more themselves. That is what life is all about, gaining wisdom and moving forward with that information.
I was a journalist by trade for over 25 years and now spend my days watching over 6-10 little people ages 4 months to 10 years as a day-care provider. They teach me more about the real world of life than anything else.
I guess it is the journalist in me that wants to dig out the facts, the truth and the human side of every issue. That is why I am here.

Thank you for the reply. I won't be able to post often because of my responsibilities to my little people, but I will check things out on the weekends. It is funny, I had great experiences as a journalist for over 25 years, yet working with the children gives me the greatest joy. I think as we age, our priorities in life also change. The glitz, glamour and the self-satisfaction of writing for an appreciative audience had its place in MY history, but today I would much rather sit and rock the future journalists of the world.
