Nancy Pelosi was recently asked "What's your favorite word?" and her response should have set fire to the separation of church and state freaks - but instead drew crickets. Pelosi says her favorite word is 'The Word' and that she governs with the values of The Word made Flesh, Jesus Christ. Uh, someone should probably tell Nance that Jesus isn't down with abortion. Pelosi: Unemployment checks create jobs

Apparently 2 years of unemployment checks aren't good enough for Democrats, they'd like to keep people dependent on government forever as they are pushing a new bill to extend benefits. In desperation, Pelosi tried to plead her case on the extension and pathetically argued that unemployment checks are the fastest way to create jobs. Perhaps dementia is settling in, or perhaps she's just too brilliant for us mere mortals to understand her logic. But even more disturbing is the Republican quoted in the article, who bashes Pelosi while at the same time saying the GOP is for 'extending unemployment benefits' - a bizarre position for a conservative that can only be explained by The Overton Window theory. Nancy Pelosi has her sights set on defeating Michele Bachmann and despite the national effort by Democrats, Bachmann is still up by 9 points. The Congresswoman talks about the financial reform bill and the coming Restoring Honor Rally on 8/28 in Washington DC. When Republicans had 'scandals' SNL and the media ran with the storyline about how corrupt Republicans are. Now?
