Krakyn Introduction - Page 30

You do me far too much credit I am not presently playing solo II and Died in soloI I think it was early 20's . Wandered out one step too far.

I tried solo II then stopped and will try to get back to it later.

Glad to hear you are moving up nicely all the games seem like reality baby steps then you cna get a good roll going.

Intalled the windows on the weekend, they wre tight but had a ton of conreat sticking out so I chipped some of it back gently as I removed the Caulking from it nad gave me a nice 1/5 icnh to play with.

The frames should be shot though I had to filling gaps on the inside rough frame with 2x4's to make the windows easier to put in. The had the from bottom 2 inches below the brink window sills on all three! Even at that I used 4 can of foam to seal it up and 5 tubes of caulking. The brick on the side and rear were very crooked.

But none will be the wiser once I put the trim back up. a nice finish hides all.

In solo I you can buy a pass to get you person back. Only 100 FP. I have spent over 1500 so far. In Solo II I had to transfer more FP to the account to keep going there too. I am finding both to be a lot of fun.

I would have been talking to the representive about the warped wood. I do hope the windows ad a lot of beauty to the home once they are all in and sealed. It is good to know a great finish can hide a lot of imperfections. Glad to hear you got the windows in.

It was not the windows that were all messed up it was the rough framing nad the brick work. Real shock there I am sure. The windows I bought were ok once I took the wrapping off. The brick molding has a bit of play in it.

I was surprised they made the rooms look bigger! just more viewing area with less lines in the middle pane.

Might put aluminum windows in upstairs though since I now have found a supplier that sells them at a reasonable cost. Would have doen them all but well can only do what you can at the time.

God is good though Saturday I got up looked not bad so we started after some prayer time. Storms were rumored on their way. It clouded up at noon black as could be we were just lifting in the big window and the 4 neighbors rushed out and we had it up and squared in 10 minutes. The rain hit but was only a minutes and very light. I later found out all around us they had 30 minutes plus heavy hard rain. 30 minutes away golf ball size hail breaking windows and damaging cars. The power of prayer will never stop amazing me. It was only a few blocks around where I lived that seen only a light drizzle for a few minutes.

Ok I understand now it was the old framing that was tweaked. I know replacing wood and getting it square is pretty easy. Glad you got it in and have a great window now. Yes I would place some aluminum windows upstairs. I need to get one myself. smile.gif

I wish we just had a nice little rian here. We average 3 inches for July. We are over 12 so far.

Hey guys, please leave the RPG talk to the respective Boards... why:

1. These Threads are supposed to be about you.
2. If you leave the RPG Boards without Discussion then people think nothing is going on, and the is the opposite effect of what we are trying to do here.

Look for updates in the Medieval Updates Thread.

Jeepers I forgot about that too busy trying to finish the bathroom before the boys return tomorrow Yikes!

Will take some pics tonight and post them on photobucket and some of the yard that new grass I put in. Was a poor year for seeding grass to much rain so it grew in splotchy but will over seed again and all will be fine. Grew a ton of weeds in it to for some reason.

Next year roof top windows(3) and new shed. I think I will try to get the new fireplace this fall still. Just a glutton for work huh.

Next week I get to go see mom and dad and relax and fish hoping to get me that turtle soup then also.
