Krakyn, as a mother I lose my temper quite often and it's hard sometimes and I am always praying that the Lord provide me with the tools I need to teach my child in the right way. You are not alone. I fully recommend the short book called "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen. It is available online here:

Try to read it when you know you have an hour or so free without interruptions and you will probably need to read it more than once. It's eye opening that will help you determine the cause of your issue and how to resolve it.

Introduction Krakyn

I have read that on before but will reread it. I often have thought it is my in ability to get all done I want at times then when he pushes it fires me up. I say want as I too often put to much on my plate and get flustered making me more edgy. I do think however there must be a deeper issue that is triggering for which I am looking to understand.

Another part is I see his greater unused abilities to which he seems to be blind. I am using smaller project or tasks for him so he can start to build that a bit more. My dad was kind but never really was much of a teacher so most I learned was just from watching so perhaps it is a reflection of my need for more self esteem and confidence in my teaching ability I need to build.

My reason is a do find it easy to tongue lash fast (thanks ma) so I pray for and try to build in a muzzle for myself.

I found a book called the power of a praying husband and I think I need to use its principles and call it the power of a praying father.

I know you do not use your Blog much but - I was just reading a Post made by FarSeer and it occurred to me that you may not know that to update your Blog you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and there you will find the "Add Reply" and "Fast Reply" buttons. Hope all is well in Canada.
