Suicide Murder Racist

Personally, I agree that it sounds more like murder than suicide. But racist murder? That's a stretch, in my opinion, since the man earned 69% of the vote.

The coroner said the soot from the gunshot wound in the chest signified that the gun was directly against the skin, and, in his opinion, that means suicide.

Huh? That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a while! What, murderers never hold the gun at point-blank range?

I hope that the state police perform a more thorough investigation than the local authorities did, and that the family can have some satisfaction in that regard. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

It seems like he was murdered, usually (not always) people who plan to commit suicide have a pattern they follow: sometimes is a letter, finances taken care of, etc. In this case, this pattern does not exist. Very strange indeed.

True, but maybe...just maybe could have been a sicko-racist who was not happy having a black Major. We are talking about the South here. Who knows.

That's true. I guess I have a hard time remembering that there are still hot spots of racism in the South, even after all these years. I can't understand that type of hatred and ignorance.
