Argentina Lunch
Generally what are the favorite Lunch meals in Argentina? You may also like to consider how individuals in Argentina generally select Mid-day foods, lunch time (hours), etc. Are Lunch meals mostly imported or made in Argentina?
Most of our foods are made in Argentina, we are proud of our cooking heritage that have a great Italian and Spaniard influence. Like everybody knows, Argentinians love meat and they must have a piece of meat for lunch or dinner.
A typical meal would include "Milanesas" Which is a common breaded cutlet dish, usually fried or baked, we also make a variation of this by adding tomato paste, mozzarella cheese, and sometimes ham and called it milanesa a la napolitana (Milanese in the Neapolitan style) in honor of his creator, an Italian Pizzeria owner in Argentina called Jose Napoli who came with this variation in the 1930's.
We eat milanesas with mash potatoes (Without gravy) and a green salad.
