I was thinking about what my favorite childhood memory of something I did or I did with my family when I was growing up. Do you have one? If so, what was it?
I actually had several. When I was growing up, my dad used to race cars, so we would go to the race tracks on Saturdays to watch him race. Going on trips with my mom, grandmother, and sister to New York City. I've been to alot of places in New York. We even saw the Rockettes do their Christmas show one year. Once, my dad took my sister and I to see that movie, E.T. when it first played in the movie theater way back in the 80's.

One of my fondest memories of my childhood are of my Dad and I washing the dinner dishes. All of us kids took turns doing the dishes and Dad's turn was on Saturday night. So I only got to do dishes with him once a month. I would wash and he would rinse, dry and put away. He would answer any question I had and I would answer any question he would have. We talked and listened to each other the whole time. I was always so disappointed when all the dishes were done.
