I wonder if these people are remembering that they are supposed to give the candidates equal air time. These reporters all following Obama like puppies on a leash is funny. I am not sure I want to listen to a reporter who is so infatuated with Obama that they may miss something important.
Pro-Life Group: Barack Obama Camp Doesn't Deny Tax-Funded Abortion OK
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A pro-life group that has launched a new campaign highlighting presidential candidate Barack Obama's support for taxpayer-funded abortions says his campaign hasn't denied that's the case. In its official response, the Obama campaign said nothing to refute the contention. Earlier this week, the Christian Defense Coalition launched a national campaign called, "Barack Obama: The Abortion President." It features advertisements and a media campaign focused on an image of Uncle Sam with Obama's face saying, "I want you to pay for abortions." The group stressed that Senator Obama would have all Americans pay for abortions both here and abroad under his health care plan and other policies. In an official response to the group, Obama campaign spokesperson Nick Shapiro claimed the pro-abortion candidate wants to reduce abortions despite making Americans pay for them. Rev. Patrick Mahoney, the head of the pro-life group, tells LifeNews.com, "Senator Obama's radical and extreme support of abortion shows he is not a progressive candidate interested in human rights and social justice."

Obama seems to be everywhere and making more of an impact with his name than McCain. It seems like the media like Obama more, maybe because he is younger and more of a go getter?

It just seems like he's everywhere because he's the media darling right now. Perhaps it's partly because of his age, but I think more because he's creating history - the first non-white male to attain the candidacy for a major political party in the USA. That's a first! Partly because he's a very dynamic and charismatic speaker. Partly because he's promising "change." And partly because the mainstream media in the U.S. is well-known for being liberal and partial to Democrats.
McCain seems more like "more of the same old story," just because he's an older, white male. Oh, and a Republican .
But, frankly, when you come right down to it, both candidates are receiving million-dollar donations from big corporations - the SAME big corporations are donating to BOTH candidates. What does that tell you? No matter who gets in office, they will have big obligations to pay back to big corporate interests.

The Berlin Speech
Sen. Barack Obama's speech in Germany today drew hundreds of thousands to Berlin's Tiergarten park. The Democratic presidential hopeful called for all nations to stand together to face future challenges like terrorism and global warming. Obama enjoys a strong rate of approval among Germans. According to a Gallup poll released yesterday, 62 percent of Germans want him to be the next U.S. president.

The media has such a crush on this guy that it makes highschoolers look like romantics. I will say it again, remember how Clinton and Carter got into the Whitehouse. No one knew who they were when their campaigns started, but said the right things and the cameras took a shine to them. Well, the camera is drilling a hole through Obama right now and has been for almost a year. He has only sharpened his oratory skills and will make a even better debater than he was at the beginning of this campaign.
McCain gets off of a plane in New England and there is no one there from the media. No ONE! Obama goes to the restroom and there is a reporter there asking about the quality of the toilet paper. McCain has a definite uphill battle.
Unless the US Public gets Obamaitis, he is definitely in the drivers seat on this one.

He is running on change but all those changes he said he was going to make at the start have been turned around. Now I do not think he will do as promised. It is interesting that while he was in Iraq he did not great any of the soldiers that were there around him. He walked right past them like they did not even exist. This is not good behavior for someone who is wanting to be the president. Didn't he say he would bring our troops home? Now he will not get them out of Iraq till 2010? And then they will not come home but go to Afganistan? So much for change.

Obama: Now is the time to join together through constant cooperation and strong institutions and shared sacrifice and a global commitment to progress to meet the challenges of the 21st century. Glenn: Okay. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Now is the time to join together through constant cooperation, through strong institutions, and shared sacrifice and a global commitment to progress to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
