I find that offensive on so many levels. Just another reason for me not to trust Obama. I would never vote for him. He says whatever he things will get him elected and most of it is without any substance.

Obama Barack

That just proves how far a candidate is willing to go to get your vote. To do something as low as this just made my choice of who I am going to vote for now. I was on the fence. Not anymore.

Are you a racist if you do not vote for Obama?

Nolan Finley thinks the left is saying this and he uses the following quote to support this idea.

QUOTE

Matthew Rothschild, writing for The Progressive

Because millions of white Americans, especially those who are forty-five and older, may not be able to bring themselves to vote for the black guy. It's that simple

Nolan Finley made some really good points about the lefts claim of racism by the left if one does not vote for Obama.

From my own research I have found several lefties implying that if you don't vote for Obama then you are a racist.

From CNN's Jack Cafferty
QUOTE

Race is arguably the biggest issue in this election, and it's one that nobody's talking about.

The differences between Barack Obama and John McCain couldn't be more well-defined. Obama wants to change Washington. McCain is a part of Washington and a part of the Bush legacy. Yet the polls remain close. Doesn't make sense"¦unless it's race.

And from just the title we see that Jacob Weisberg is saying the same thing
QUOTE

If Obama Loses
Racism is the only reason McCain might beat him.

WHAT?
If I do not want Obama's Pseudo Socialism I am a racist. If I do not like his brand of liberalism I am a racist.

This is just a tactic by the Left to make conservatives feel guilty because they are not falling on the sword of Obamamania.

I agree with you Dbackers but let's also take into consideration that I am sure there IS a part of the population that will NOT vote for the guy because they don't want a "Black President" whether that part of the population is big or small I don't know.

I agree that race can be a deciding factor in who wins this election and have said so for quite a while now. So, to a degree, I agree with some of what the media is saying. HOWEVER, they are making it to be that all who vote against Obama are racist and that is just not true. There is no poll on the racist vote and how they are trending...you know why? Because the racist vote is not telling you who they are and more importantly how many there are and if they are going to vote. So, the vote is close right now and you can assume that is without the racist or people who just can bring themselves to vote for a black man. What the democrats are afraid of is what has been projected as a potential 6% swing from the polls if racists get out and vote McCain. This is a hidden 6% that shows up no where in the polls and it has them freightened as it well should. The portrayal of this potential 6% representing the other 94% or more so the ones that are honestly voting for McCain (not because Obama is black) is sad. It should tell the electorate how the media views republicans...uneducated - bigots.

Nice Message CNN, MSNBC, DNC, etc...

Vote Vincenzo in 2008!

As a white guy who is over the age of 40 I find it offensive that someone would call me racist without knowing me or understanding what I believe in. I think it is sad that they are trying to play the racist card to get Obama elected. What is the matter? Does he not have what it takes to win on his own? I guess not.

It is sad that we can not get over this black and white thing. I believe that there are more black people who are racist than whites right now.

Misleading Voters on Abortion: Selling Barack Obama as a Pro-Life Candidate
by Deal Hudson

Just when this presidential election could not get any stranger, David Brody reports the launching of a "Pro-Life Pro-Obama" Web site. When is the "John McCain, Pacifist" Web site going to show up? The effort to sell Obama as a pro-life candidate is being spearheaded by a group called the Matthew 25 Network, a PAC created by former Democratic political operative Mara Vanderslice. Vanderslice was director of religious outreach for the Kerry campaign in 2004 but was "silenced" when Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, publicized her connection with various far-left political groups. The "Pro-Life Pro-Obama" Web site confirms what I wrote yesterday: Doug Kmiec has become the Catholic outreach of the Obama campaign. The first thing you notice when the site opens is a prominent "Welcome from Doug Kmiec." Doug Johnson, legislative director of National Right to Life, has already written a devastating critique of Obama's abortion reduction promises. But even Kmiec's claims about Obama's concern for prenatal care don't comport with the facts. Steven Ertelt at LifeNews.com reported two days ago that Obama voted against an amendment extending a health care program to cover prenatal care.

Yet another example of this man's duplicitous nature. Instead of getting out there and campaining for what he believes in and standing for something he hires all these "experts" to create multiple images for him to suit whichever audience he needs more votes from. It appears this man will do anything to get elected regardless of ethics or how he truly feels on the subject.

And I agree with Klar, it is offensive and tiring that all they can come up with is the race card. I would vote for anyone of any race and any gender if I believed they were honorable, qualified to run the country and could represent my values and principles. In my book this man is none of these.
