I thought the you.S stood at 3 children per family? I could be mistaken, I don't have a cited page on that. But, in our economic situation, I don't think abortion should be as big of an issue as is. Along with gay marriage and gun control. But, I personally believe we should have guns, people can have same-sex marriages, and have unlimited abortions. Actually Gun Control, is the biggest issue I have with Obama.

Obama Barack

This election is SOOO not about abortion. I personally find abortion abhorrent.

However, Obama believes that abortion should stand as Roe V. Wade has placed it, with the woman to make her own moral choice.

As for guns, Obama can only say so many times that he won't take your guns before you realize people aren't listening. Besides, the supreme court struck down the Washington D.C. ban on hand guns. This is no longer an issue.

Obama's policies simply work better than McCains. McCain continues to tout more and more deregulation in every industry. A practice that we are now able to see, doesn't work.

So I visited the blog page you were talking about Farseer. And I have to say, I was immediately appalled when I saw them making a big deal over :

QUOTE
"Intelligent design" creationism is a step closer to being taught in Texas science classes, as 'social conservatives" on the State Board of Education appoint three creationists to a six-member committee to review science curricula.

So, after reviewing what they had out. I could personally care less if he has some muslim influence over him. Just read this.

I don't know which blog you are referring to. Rhieland, I'm not sure why you are quoting this to me in this particular thread which is about Barack Obama. Perhaps you could find a more appropriate board for that topic.

If it is not about abortion why are there many references to it in this thread? It looks to me like it is an issue for the Christian right in America and they have a big following.

Pro-Life Woman Complains Obama Pro-Abortion, Gets Secret Service Visit

Lufkin, TX (LifeNews.com) -- A pro-life woman who received an unsolicited phone call from the Barack Obama campaign complained about his pro-abortion position. The call earned her a visit from the Secret Service, who were apparently given erroneous information from the campaign volunteer that she made a death threat. Jessica Hughes of Texas says she received a phone call last Wednesday from a woman with the Obama Volunteers of Texarkana. She said: "She asked if I was an Obama supporter, to which I replied, 'No, I don't support him. Your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the state Senate to let little babies die in hospital closets; I think you should find something better to do with your time.' (And then) I hung up." Hughes was referring to bills in the Illinois legislature that Obama opposed that would have required medical personnel to provide appropriate medical care for babies who survive failed abortions. Her comment about abortion was apparently changed by the Obama volunteer and reported to the Secret Service, who are protecting both presidential candidates. Two federal agents showed up at Hughes' home on Thursday and asked her if she has said, "I will never support Obama and he will wind up dead on a hospital floor." Hughes said she is upset the Obama campaign would allege she had made a death threat and is considering filing a complaint.

Rather off topic, but...
You have a good point there Farseer, I don't really remember what thread that was on. I guess I had too many tabs up and got confused, great that means there is another random post floating around somewhere.

Anyways, they don't record the calls made? That would have been the surefire way of solving the issue.

I truly do not like Obama at all. McCain has my vote, all the way. Obama, I've found, has lied a few times during the debates. I don't have enough time to post all the reasons why McCain would be better, and it would be a waste of time any way, because I would change anyone's mind (we're all pretty stubborn, I guess), but really, make sure you aren't just voting for him because someone else is, or because he would be the first black president in America and "it would change things" (which is why some people are voting for Obama and some people voted for Hillary). That, to me, is sad.
