Obama Wins

I am concerned about this ever increasing price of oil. It gives local markets the excuse they need to raise prices regardless to whether that increase is justified or not. It also deters people in the US from making purchases, not good for me.

Obama's relationship with racial minister

At the news forefront is Obama's relationship with racial minister, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who makes remarks about Italians and Whites in general. Do you think this will hurt Obama? Check this:

QUOTE
In his much-discussed speech from Philadelphia on Tuesday, Obama strongly condemned Wright's most controversial statements. But he did not repudiate Wright or his overall ministry, saying the man who officiated at his wedding is like a family member.

The decision will haunt Obama, LaCivita said, because his political success is built on his image as a uniter and almost messianic figure who eschews divisive strategies. When that image is juxtaposed to Wright's outbursts comparing the United States to the Ku Klux Klan, among other things, voters will wonder if they misread Obama and his true character, he said.

Obama Barack

Actually, this story has been going on for about 2 weeks now and his numbers have not dropped.

Rather off topic, but...
Hillary's false memory of landing in Bosnia under a hail of gunfire has been more damaging that this story.

However, there is one thing about this story if the Clinton camp can keep it up front that might do some serious damage...

Just like they got Capone...follow the money! How on earth does a preacher get this kind of coin? So keep pounding on the anti-america/anti-white remarks and follow the money and there will be plenty of mud to go around.

Obama really needed to quickly denounce the remarks of the reverend and separate himself from the reverend. He did the first part, but failed to do the last part quickly. His excuse for keeping Rev Wright on his campaign staff was a kin to saying that the Rev was like a Crazy Uncle. You just dont throw out your Crazy Uncle...he is family. Family members can cause some serious damage. The presidency has a history of them...Carter's and Clinton's brothers both didnt do them all lot of good while in the Whitehouse.

I have a bitter dislike for preachers of religion who openly unite under political ideals, especially when those ideals are racially motivated. Are they much different from the Islamists? It is these kinds of preachers that will cause White America to look the other way when Obama wants support, more especially when you do not really utterly denounce him because he married you and your wife.

I got to admit though that if this is the only thing that the Clinton Camp can pin on Obama, his record is pretty squeaky clean. Trust me, they have been investingating everything about Obama...probably down to who he voted for high school class president and this is all they got: a loud mouthed preacher and his wishy washy stance on abortion.

I checked the math this weekend and it is guaranteed that neither candidate will have enough delegates (primaries and caucuses) to get the nomination. It is going to come down to the superdelegates. Looking at the ones pledged already, Clinton would have to take over 75% of the remaining ones left to go ahead of Obama. The only way that can happen would be some serious political backroom kind of stuff. There is a chance that the undeclared superdelegates can decide to end the contest prematurely and become declared and basically this confirms the winner before the convention. Honestly, I see this happening.

If they were smart, more and more of the undeclared superdelegates need to declare over the next week. Enough need to declare for either candidate such that they almost win it outright after the Pennsylvania Primary. This will let the voters feel that they were the ones that made the decision and will keep the momentum going on the democrat side (enormous turnouts for primaries). If this is all a mystery still at convention time, there is a real danger that the side that loses this race will just not vote in the general election.

Didn't he cheat on his wife before? Remember they may be saving the really dirty stuff for when it matters, you just never know in politics.
