BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - A dog survived a flight in an eagle's claws then endured a week of sometimes subfreezing weather before finding its way home, a veterinarian said Wednesday.
"He was chilled, but he seemed to be able to walk," John McIlhattan said, referring to Freddie, a 13-year-old Pekingese mix. "He seemed remarkably chipper for what he'd gone through."
Earlier in the day, Freddie showed up at home weighing about 3 pounds less than he did when he was last seen in a neighbor's driveway on Dec. 29.....

What is amazing about this story is that the dog was 13 years old. Most dogs don't even live to be that old! He was able to find his way back home through the cold and injuries he suffered. Truly an amazing story of survival!
That is funny the dog was able to find its way home and everything. That reminds me of my friends cat that was so overweight an owl that tried to fly off with it had to drop it. The cat lived and everyone got a pretty good laugh seeing it.
