Even Preacher Wants To Hang Them

I was watching the news on TV. Even that popular Curepe Preacher who detests homosexuality and other acts on public television recently said at the funeral of the slain police officer that the public schools need corporal punishment and that ALL murderers must be hanged. Far cry from love your neighbor eh? I was glad, because all the top brass in the police was hearing how fed up he was and the congregation in agreement.

Actually I was hearing another preacher saying we should give the other cheek and we should not look for revenge (he was talking about this case of the police woman and his family murdered).

Now with regards to what the preacher said about corporal punishment at schools, he has no clue what he is saying. I have seen it in action and you can see in the eyes of these children the anger and the frustration and yes, the look of hate and then we wonder when they go out and kill when we are teaching them through violence? Please!

Well, yes, that is one of the things he said, but my focus was mainly on him, as a preacher, wanting murderers hanged. I believe we have another Thread dealing with corporal punishment in schools in Trinidad & Tobago.
