Do you think that the DSM-IV-TR is accurate or needs to be grossly revised?

I don't know that it needs to be revised. I think the actual premise it assumes is wrong. It doesn't take into account physical problems and disorders. Strict use of this hinders the psychiatrists ability to properly diagnose patients since it leaves out physical ailments and focuses solly on mental diseases. In other words, if something physical is causing the mental problems, then you won't know that from a psychiatrist using this book.
