My Kidnapping

Rather off topic, but... Okay, so I joined the forum to communicate information. The rules about not posting my e-mail...that's fine. The thing is if you are or not aware of the situation in this country....Let me bring you up to speed.

I got a reply letter from the U.N. On the 15th of August last year. Now here's the details of delivery....I found the letter stuck in my neighbors door, addressed to me, after running home from a roadside beating. That same weekend, the CEO of Atlantic LNG was kidnapped but escaped his abductors. I hope that brings things a little more in perspective for you.
The contents of that letter from the U.N are in regards to my human rights and the total lack of respect for mine in particular. I made allegations against the police, my parents and the people of Trinidad and Tobago for the disrespect of my rights....I was diagnosed with a mental illness and it's tough for me to always be coherent or rational....but I know how to defend myself with the law.
The U.N claimed in that letter that there was no basis to investigate my allegations due to the fact that Trinidad and Tobago was not a member party to the optional protocol governing human rights set forth by the U.N.
Now that said, I have communicated what I know to the police, but I was myself kidnapped and reported that as well...nothing came of this....
I'm just trying to communicate information....what I know of the crime situation here as truthfully and completely as I can....
So it goes like this...I was kidnapped, by a taxi driver's friend....the driver worked for me and was hired by myself, screened and recommended by my parents and was apparently related to my aunt's husband. His job description was ,'taxi driver,' the car he drove belonged to my mother and I collected the proceeds of his work.
What happened was I was lured into Belmont,..where the latest victim was last seen being taken...eye witness accounts...,accosted by gunmen and put on the bottom of a house....then released...to me that's extremely suspicious. I have suspected my family ever since...and you know what...they don't speak to me face to face anymore too....what's even worse is that no ransom was made or paid for my release...I was just let go and that was it.
Now we got someone being taken into Belmont? That's just crazy man....and I mean there've been so much that's happened to me both before and after that fateful night....I'm not going to post everything here....there's months of police reports and the like....all sorts of things...
Again, now we got someone being taken to Belmont? And strange people are following me to my home? This ain't paranoia anymore...these are the facts. Everything can probably be verified if you got a heavy hand in the police service....or 800 SAVE hotline.

So anyways sorry about the post mistake. I was just a little over zealous. I did report what I know to the police though....
Anyways, as to why I posted that stuff here....the details of my case are extremely suspicious....but in common with Phillipa's is this. I was kidnapped....lured to Belmont and accosted by gunmen. The strange thing is this....I met one of the guys through my taxi driver. He was hired by me, screened by my parents and was also apparently related to my aunt's husband.
Now the thing is no ransom was made or paid for my release. I was just held against my will. I have suspected my family's involvement ever since....I made reports to the police station about that and no one has been tried or convicted.
My family, well I don't see them anymore....If you need to press me I'll answer all your questions....but these are the facts. There's months worth of police reports made by me against my family and nothing's been done.
I don't see them anymore too. Now we got someone being held hostage in Belmont and I just want to see them come out alive like everyone else, that's all.
Oh and by the way it's probably the same crew who kidnapped me, or maybe the crew that did kidnap me can give information....now you get where this is going?
My family is the only link to that old crew that I know...You get the police to listen to that and I'll gladly come foward....

Also, since you have gone off on such a tangent I have moved your Post here. Now, back to your situation... are you still in Trinidad or have you decided to move out to safer shores?

If nothing else it is a disturbing account. I am positive the anguish you fell is high from this whole experience. I know t can take time to leave and go somewhere else, have you started the process?

I'm doing everything I can, which is actually allot. Still things are slow to proceed and I am always constantly in some sort of fear, but I manage. Still looking over my shoulder, I mean I wrote the U.N. so I should hope I got the police and army for protection like any good citizen.
