TV makers settle suit over screen sizes
Five large companies that make televisions have settled a consumer protection action filed by prosecutors in seven counties, including San Diego, that contended the manufacturers were misstating the actual size of television screens they sold. Ref. Source 7

Sizes Screen Tv
For as long as I have been buying televisions I have taken a tape measure with me to compare the screen sizes to each other. Granted they all said they were 32 inch tvs but the actual measurements were off by a good margin between each company. I guess that was something my grandfather passed down to my dad and my dad to me.
