Well, we have not even reached December 2008 and already the country scores a record 500 murders.

We have passed the 500 mark and there is no stopping the runaway train of crime.

526 Murders In Trinidad & Tobago

There seems to be a rush to reach 600 before the end of the year with a whopping 526 murders recorded. Mind you, those are the ones noted. What about the many missing persons that may be already murdered that if confirmed dead would push the number even further up?

Seems like it is some kind of competition now to see if they can reach 600 before the year is through. Looks like it will be more that 550 to me at this rate.

550 Murders

As of now it is 550 murders for 2008, we will know the total figure the night of January 1st, 2009. Keep in mind these are known murders. Many people are missing that could also be murdered. There are those who are not missed that might also be murdered. Sadly, we may never know.
