Comments: I have checked this site periodically, and recently I noticed that the murder and kidnapping rates have remained unchanged (over approximately one week), is this a matter of being behind on updating the stats or a lack of incidents? I would like to believe the latter, but find that difficult.

Maybe you check too often or not often enough. Figures are updated every other day or when we have new numbers to add. Please keep in mind:

1. Kidnappings are measured by ransom claims only and not everyone that simply is filed as missing.

2. Murders are only known as the media gives out the information. Sometimes a case may be pending as to whether it is a murder, manslaughter, accident, suicide, etc.

Identifiable Icons

In TTCrime.com's forum Members who respond to Threads can be identified by an icon according to the first letter in their name. Likewise, there are set icons for the Bots and Mods. JoePublic will of course remain with the generic icon. This will make the reading messages easier and more identifiable.

Subject: Crime Stats

Message: Re the TT Crime Site - it would be more helpful to split the statistics for Tobago and Trinidad. Tobago is VERY different from Trinidad and just sends out the wrong message for Tobago.
